Ag Energy Co-operative was formed in 1988 to provide natural gas options and other forms of energy to greenhouses. Since then, the Co-operative has expanded its membership to include all agricultural producers and processors in Ontario. We are Canada’s largest farm energy co-op providing half of all natural gas used by greenhouses and one third of all electricity consumed by Ontario agriculture. Our FireFly Energy division offers natural gas and electricity solutions to those who do not qualify for Membership. Our Ag Energy Services division implements conservation and efficiency strategies in Ontario agriculture.
